I wanted to make something that gave me a chance to use different species in a useful way. I personally use a charcuterie board for outdoor eating, serving, for showing off a great steak, etc. So far these have a common theme of a big center piece of hardwood. Pictured is walnut and mesquite, with padauk, purpleheart, ambrosia maple, maple, cedar, and bodark. But I will continue experimenting with different species as it catches me eye. Also, dont forget to check out what else I have created here. Each board is glued, planed, edges rounded with router, then sanded to smooth. The finish is a simple food safe mineral oil. No fuss to apply, and once in your home, super easy to maintain. These are meant to be serving boards, not cutting boards. Do not use as a cutting board. Wipe with warm water and do not submerge in water. Not dishwasher safe.
