Product Refund and Cancellation Policy:
For items that are custom made, we will only be able to refund 25% of payment after 3 days, excluding Charcuterie Trays. As once an order is placed, we will source the material, and begin working it to fulfill the order immediately. Unless otherwise stated, and unless prior notice is given of intent to cancel or alter the order, we will withhold 75% to cover our costs incurred, 100% for charcuterie trays. Costs incurred is the selecting and shaping of a piece of wood that will no longer be usable for another item. Product images are updated regularly and are not a guarantee of color and grain, nor a basis for a refund.
Product Finish Disclaimer:
Wood, like all natural materials, has inherent differences in color and grain pattern. Because of variations caused by nature, over which the company has no control. We do our best to match the finish samples and grain examples provided. However, Central Texas Custom Woodworking does not guarantee an exact match of pictured items. Samples of grain pattern and color are for illustrative purposes only. Due to the natural variation in wood, each piece will have a variation in how it accepts the finishing process. Each piece is finished with a protective coat of lacquer, poly urethane, or ca glue. No harsh or abrasive cleaners should be used on items as they will scratch or make cloudy the finish. To clean, use a soft cloth with non-abrasive cleaner to dust and remove fingerprints.
Wood is a natural product that responds to temperature and humidity variations by expanding and contracting. Sometimes these changes may be noticeable in the physical appearance of the product. Although every care is taken to ensure our products can handle temperature and humidity changes, the conditions of your home can affect the wooden products you buy from us. We advise you to keep the product in consistent, stable conditions to minimize the effects of temperature and moisture change in the atmosphere. For example, avoiding placing the product close to a heat sources such as a radiator or oven will go a long way to ensuring the longevity of the product.
All merchandise is carefully inspected prior to shipment. All claims against Central Texas Custom Woodworking, including defects, shortages, and/or errors must be made in writing with accompanying photographs within 5 days after receipt of merchandise. Failure to make such a claim shall constitute full acceptance of the merchandise and waiver of all defects, shortages, and/or errors visible during inspection. Customers should carefully inspect all items at the time of delivery and note any obvious damage. All claims for damage to goods while in transit must be settled with the carrier by the consignee. Central Texas Custom Woodworking is not responsible for any damages due to shipping or local delivery. Any damage or loss must be claimed by the consignee with the carrier within 5 days and all packing materials must be retained until inspection is made by all parties.
All Central Texas Custom Woodworking pieces are non-returnable. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned freight collect. Delivered orders may not be returned for any reason whatsoever, except when repair or replacement is indicated and approved by Central Texas Custom Woodworking.
